Israel says it has dealt a serious blow to Iran’s ballistic missile production after carrying out overnight airstrikes on targets in Tehran.
According to the Israel Defence Force, the operation struck dozens of sites linked to missile development and weapons production. Israeli officials said the targets included facilities used to make critical missile components, along with a storage site for parts, a missile fuel plant, and another production facility.
The IDF said the strikes were part of a broader effort to weaken Iran’s ability to expand its ballistic missile programme, which Israel views as a direct security threat.
In a statement shared on Telegram, the military said it would continue targeting the regime’s weapons production infrastructure in an effort to reduce its missile capabilities.
The latest strikes add to rising tensions in the region, with Tehran once again becoming the focus of direct military action overnight.
